Engine:

Jaguar XK 4.2 litre engine, totally remanufactured by VSE.  Engine is gas flowed and dynamically balanced, fitted with lightened flywheel.

Also fitted with twin 2 inch SU HS8 carburettors.  Polished E-type cam covers.  Engine fan and electric fan.
Engine re-build spec: Engine totally remanufactured by VSE Ltd.  Fast Road specification with new pistons and rings, bores rehoned, new big end and main bearings.  New oil pump and new timing chains.  All new bearings , seals and gaskets. Gas flowed inlets. Fitted new  diaphragm spring clutch assembly.  Whole reciprocating engine  mass balanced for smooth tickover.  Rebuilt starter, alternator, distributor and water pump. Twin pipe stainless steel exhaust system fitted.
Gearbox & Differential: Jaguar Short Compact 4 speed + overdrive unit. Salisbury differential.  All the above totally rebuilt by Jaguar specialists
Chasis & Bodywork: MIG welded 150x50x3mm closed box section.  Lockheed disc brakes, all as new.  Adjustable shock absorbers on 6 coil spring suspension.  Rack and pinion steering.  Ca is fitted with Type 40 sealed beam headlights and a central spotlight.  Bodywork in GRP and steel.  Louvered alloy bonnet.  Totally accurate recreation of the 1938 Jaguar SS100.  Two-pack painted in Rosso Alfa red.
Wheels: 18 inch, 72 spoke stove enamelled in Rosso Alfa and fitted with Blockley 5.50 x 18 inch High Performance tyres.
Interior: New 2010 Connelly leather in dark plum with matching Wilton carpets including carpeting to locker.
Fittings: New 2010 Sidescreens, tonneau cover, hoodbag, fitted hood in black mohair.  Heater and fan.  Aeroscreens, windwings, luggage rack.  GB plate, rear fog warning and reverse lights.  Moto Lita steering wheel.  Alloy engine turned dashboard.  Leather bonnet strap.
Mileage: 22200 only.  Car is just serviced, new MOT, road tested and ready to be enjoyed.  Works guarantee.
