Engine: Jaguar XK 3.8 litre. Fully remanufactured with fully balanced internals, lightened flywheel and ported inlet manifold.. Fitted with Lynx manifold and 3 x Weber DCOE carburrettors . Polished XJ cam covers. Engine fan and electric fan.
Engine re-build spec: Fitted new clutch assembly. Rebuilt starter, alternator, distributor, water pump. Twin pipe mild steel exhaust system fitted.
Gearbox & Differential: Jaguar Short Compact 4 speed + overdrive unit. Salisbury differential on Jaguar live axle. All the above totally rebuilt by Jaguar specialists
Chasis & Bodywork: MIG welded tubular sections , exactly as the Jaguar works 1953 design. i. At the front- Lockheed disc brakes, fully overhauled.. Adjustable shock absorbers on torsion bar suspension. Rack and pinion steering. At the rear- Lockheed disc brakes fully overhauled. .Adjustable shock absorbers act on trailing arms and coil suspension. Brakes are servo assisted. Bodywork in GRP and alloy. Louvered bonnet. Totally accurate recreation of the 1953 Jaguar C-type works using chassis number 039 as the authentic basis of our car. Please note that this car is truly accurate and is exactly 5’0’’ feet wide ,as designed by Malcolm Sayer . Painted in Bright Red.
Wheels: .16 inch 72 spoke,in silver and fitted with Blockley 6.00 x 16 inch High Performance tyres.
Interior: Black Connolly leather seats and door panels with black Hardura and alloy.
Fittings: Full width Perspex windscreen, aeroscreens, luggage rack. Tool kit, and copper faced hammer. Moto Lita steering wheel or 3 spoke C type wheel option.
Mileage: Car is road tested MOT tested and registered.
