You can Self Build a Suffolk C-type.

The business of Suffolk Jaguar primarily exists to enable self build owners to build a beautiful Suffolk SS100 at home and over 150 have been built in this way by satisfied owners all over the world.

Our development of the Suffolk C-type Jaguar extends this facility to a second Jaguar model. Without doubt the C-type is hugely evocative of the 1950's period and has been much copied in past 15 years.

We aim to make our recreation of this most famous Jaguar as straightforward to build as our well established SS100.

Basic decisions will be as follows:

1) Do you want to source all the donor parts yourself or ask Suffolk to provide everything necessary.
2) Do you want Suffolk to carry out all the re-building of the donor components or do you have the expertise at home to carry out these functions.

Following a visit to our works at Woodbridge in Suffolk you may wish to place an order with us. £2500 deposit - credited to the cost of Delivery 1.

We will then advise you when the chassis will be ready to come to you.

Delivery 1:

Chassis, front and rear brakes and suspension, steering, rear axle, fuel tank, wheels and tyres.

Delivery 2:

GRP bodywork comprising front bonnet, centre section and rear section, drivers and passenger door, rear panel and rear skirt. Additional items will include all the unfitted alloy panelling, firewall, rear panel and underbonnet ducting for customer's choice of carburettors.

Delivery 3:

Engine, gearbox, carburettors and engine auxiliaries. Exhaust manifolds and silencers. Raditor and cooling system items. Wiring loom and first fix electrical items.

Delivery 4:

Instrumentation, body fittings including windscreen, seats, headlamp covers. Second fix electrical items seats and interior mirrors.

All deliveries can be collected from us by the customer or delivered to your house.
